SUMMARY OF UNIT

This unit will provide aspiring leaders with an overview of the importance of personal resilience and its impact on their leadership and how maintaining the wellbeing and resilience of both themselves and their team can influence organisational effectiveness and performance.


LEARNING OUTCOMES

By completing this unit, trainees are expected to:

• Describe the key aspects of developing personal resilience and wellbeing strategies as a leader
• Discuss what they currently do well or not so well in their role and how they try to model good behaviours for their staff teams
• Explain how an effective workplace strategy can be developed or improved in the context of their own work environment
• Describe how they might plan effectively to lead changes that support the overall resilience and wel being of both them and their staff teams
